Mike Prisuta, the lead sports columnist at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, resigned his position at the newspaper last week.
Prisuta declined to comment on his resignation.
He will continue as sports director of WDVE and handle the sports news and opinions on that station’s highly rated “Morning Show.’’
Mike Prisuta“I look forward to a long associate with the DVE Morning Show,’’ Prisuta said.
He’s departure leaves Joe Starkey and John Harris as the two Tribune-Review sports columnists.
Among the Pittsburgh media, Prisuta ranked among the top in his insider knowledge of what’s happening on the Steelers beat. He covered the Steelers for a number of years for the Beaver County Times before moving to the Tribune-Review and has been a long-time fixture at training camp.
In addition to his radio work at WDVE, he also was a part of the pre-game show on the Steelers Radio Network and made frequent appearances on Fox Sports Radio 97
