anderson silva vs forrest griffin highlights

anderson-silva-vs-forrest-griffin-highlights-videoAnderson Silva VS Forrest Griffin Highlights/VideoAnderson Silva and Forrest Griffin fight has got more than its fair share of publicity. Many people are not prepared to accept that Griffin can be downed in just a few bouts and punches.
A reader says, “Anderson (The spider)Silva is indeed the real deal!!!! But,I couldn’t believe my eyes last night as I watched him simply toy with Forest Griffin. Is the spider that good or maybe the fight just a big mismatch of styles? I hope it’s something like that, and not corruption in the UFC as has been suggested by some”.

He continues further, “Theirs is big money in the fight game, and has it corrupted the UFC? I for one hope not, because the UFC has brought excitement back into the fight game”.
Anderson Silva and Forrest Griffin are great martial art experts and great fighters. Both attack their opponents with greatest might and are not known to spare any punches that may knockout their opponents.
But what happened yesterday was not a great fight at all. Griffin was easily outclassed by a rampaging Anderson Silva.

It looked as if in the third round itself, Griffin was not in a position to stand against Silva. He reportedly broke his jaw and has lost some hearing.

I am sort of sure this will be all right within a few days or a few weeks and Griffin would again stand in the gym with all his might.

But there are many contrasts in the personalities of the two fighters. Anderson has been more magnanimous, in throwing punches as well as respecting a more ferocious opponent who beat him. It is notwithstanding the fact that not many people are able to beat him so far.

Silva’s UFC career has been great to say the least. In April 2006 UFC announced that they had signed him to a multi-fight contract.

Silva made his debut at Ultimate Fight Night 5 on June 28, 2006. His opponent was The Ultimate Fighter 1 contestant Chris Leben who had gone undefeated in the UFC with five consecutive victories. Silva made an emphatic debut when he knocked out Leben with a flurry of strikes, followed by a final knee strike at 49 seconds into the first round.
